The founder and soul of Buffelskom Farming were asked a question: “What makes Buffelskom Boerdery different from every other ostrich farm in South-Africa...if not every ostrich farm in the world?
This was his answer....
“The biggest reason is our unique farming model; a closed compartment model. This is something we pioneered here at Buffelskom. And many people said it couldn’t be done...but we proved them wrong.
OUR OSTRICH
Our Birds are humanely raised and given no routine Antibiotics or Growth Hormones. Guaranteed.
Years of experience has rewarded us an exceptionally low mortality rate. They are happy and healthy birds roaming in their natural environment.
OUR ABATTOIR
We are one of the few farms with our own export custom-built abattoir that is European Union registered for Ostrich and Game. Every product that leaves our Abattoir is 100% Traceable.
